Alwar: A 10-month-old girl died after falling into a pot of hot milk in Behramda village under Nadbai police station area of Bharatpur district Thursday.The child, identified as Chandni, was playing on a bed while her mother, Preeti had kept a pot of hot milk nearby to cool. Around noon, the infant fell into the pot and began crying, alerting her mother, who rushed in and found her severely scalded.The parents immediately took the child to hospital, where doctors declared her dead. She had suffered nearly 80% burns.Nadbai SHO Arun Singh said the body was not sent for post-mortem as the family declined. Police said the incident occurred when the father, Satyabhan had gone out for labour work.
