Vadodara: IndiGo has resumed air cargo operations at Vadodara airport, restoring an important freight service that is set to benefit industries, exporters, MSMEs and businesses across the city and neighbouring regions.Airport officials said the renewed cargo service will enable manufacturers and exporters to transport finished goods more efficiently to destinations across India, reducing transit time, improving supply chain efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of the region’s industrial sector.Vadodara MP Hemang Joshi said the restoration of air cargo services would strengthen the city’s logistics infrastructure and improve connectivity for its industrial and business ecosystem.According to officials, the service was revived following discussions with Union civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu during his visit to Vadodara on July 17.Airport authorities, IndiGo and other stakeholders worked together to restore the cargo connectivity, a move expected to further support the region’s economic and industrial growth.
