Kanpur: At the global level, when there is an atmosphere of war and unrest all around, the conditions of stability and peace are strengthening India’s position, said BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sudhanshu Trivedi. He said countries from America to Europe came within the ambit of free trade agreements, and due to this, giant companies like NVIDIA are ready to come to India. Addressing the India @2030 session of TiECon UP 2026, organised at a city hotel on Saturday, he said the country has the best environment for industrial development, and entrepreneurs and innovators are going to benefit from it.Prominent policymakers, venture capitalists, and successful entrepreneurs participated in the event.Sudhanshu said the country made rapid progress in the green and clean technology and energy sectors, and the free trade agreement is going to provide a big export opportunity for India’s industries.He said the manufacturing cost in America and Europe is high, while it is very low in India. He said by blending 20% ethanol, India saved its foreign currency.Divisional commissioner K. Vijayendra Pandian said a business-friendly environment is being created in the state through investment-friendly policies. Director IIT K , Prof. Manindra Agrawal, focused on the winds of change in UP, discussed defence, deep-tech startups, and research in the latest technologies. Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand said UP is leading more than 55% of the country’s expressway network, along with 27 integrated manufacturing and logistics clusters and more than 75,000 acres of industrial land bank available. TiE UP president Rao Vikram Singh and TiECon chairman Sanjeev Shriya were also present.
