Times News NetworkKanpur: An enforcement team of Kanpur Munipal corporation (KMC) on Fridaydemolished the illegal structures raised over a nullah in Govind Nagar Kachchi Basti .The enforcement squad had reached there on complaint of RTI activist RamLakhan Jaiswal who himself was resident of Kachchi Basti. He had complainedabout encroachment and illegal construction.The enforcement team faced protest from localresidents during demolition. Residents of the basti attacked Ram Lakhan Jaiswal and pushed him in nullah . The force accompanying enforcement squad rescued Ram Lakhan.
