Entrepreneurs takes part in a programme organised at IIT Patna

Patna: Micro-entrepreneurs need to think beyond conventional business models and explore innovative ways to expand their enterprises, state MSME director Aman Samir said at a programme organised by the Incubation Centre, IIT Patna, under the SBI Foundation’s LEAP: GramPro Initiative.Addressing more than 90 beneficiaries and stakeholders, Samir outlined the facilities, support mechanisms and opportunities available through the state MSME department to help small enterprises overcome business challenges and scale up. He also shared insights into Bihar’s upcoming MSME policy, highlighting the potential of govt initiatives to strengthen grassroots businesses.A dedicated business growth workshop was conducted by Kumar Siddharth Singh, chief manager, BioNEST, Incubation Centre, IIT Patna. The session focused on identifying growth opportunities, enterprise development and practical strategies to strengthen businesses.The programme began with a welcome address by Joseph Paul Arackalan, general manager, Incubation Centre, IIT Patna, who also provided an overview of the initiative. The SBI Foundation team then briefed participants on LEAP: GramPro, while assistant manager Vaishnavi Shikha joined online to explain its objectives and support framework.
