Ahmedabad: The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have extended the 3030 Eklavya programme for five years with an MoU signe on Feb 3. Led by the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) at IIT-Gn, the programme has reached over 73,000 teachers nationwide, with its videos garnering 1.3 million views, according to IIT-Gn. Designed as a structured 30-hour continuing professional development (CPD) programme, the initiative blends live demonstrations, hands-on STEM activities, curriculum integration, and assessments aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, they added.General secretary Sri Lanka’s Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna party meets Gujarat chief ministerChief minister Bhupendra Patel met Tilvin Silva, general secretary of Sri Lanka’s Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), in a courtesy meeting. On the occasion of World Pulses Day, which will be observed on Tuesday, agriculture minister Jitu Vaghani said that the annual production of pulses in Gujarat exceeds 2 million metric tonnes, with chickpeas accounting for more than 70% of the state’s total pulse production.
