Jaipur: Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) department is planning to develop two online monitoring mechanisms for anganwadis to understand their requirements and utilise funds accordingly. In a review meeting Wednesday, ICDS chairperson Vasudev Malawat instructed officers to prepare an online module or mobile app for online monitoring of the daily inspection of anganwadis by the female supervisor and to know the status of facilities and infrastructure there.Officials said the online systems will also have personal details of both supervisors and anganwadi workers, including details like joining date, educational qualification, salary or honorarium received. “Information regarding the infrastructural status of anganwadis should be transmitted by the workers through the app, so that the centres can be strengthened,” said Malawat.
