Prayagraj: Pratapgarh police on Friday arrested a 29-year-old man for abetting his wife’s suicide.According to police, the woman, physically and mentally harassed by the accused, had consumed a poisonous substance along with her son on Apr 16.While the son survived during the treatment, the woman died.Police also said that the wife objected to husband’s illicit relationship with another woman, which led to frequent quarrels between the two.Following the death of woman, her brother registered a case against six persons including his sister’s husband and her in-laws. under sections 115(2)/352/108 of BNS.
