Chandigarh: The Punjab State and Chandigarh (UT) human rights commission held an open hearing in Sector 43 Friday, where residents raised issues related to civic amenities, healthcare, education and public welfare. Commission member Jitender Singh Shunty assured prompt redressal of genuine grievances and emphasised greater public participation in governance.
