Hisar: A 46-year-old Home Guard jawan posted with the Ratia traffic police allegedly died after consuming a poisonous substance at Tohana Town Park late on Sunday night. The deceased, Krishan Kumar, a resident of Geeta Colony, succumbed during treatment. According to preliminary investigation, Krishan Kumar allegedly consumed the poisonous substance in a park and was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Family members alleged that three individuals had been harassing Krishan Kumar over a monetary dispute. They said this drove him to suicide. Police said further action would be taken on the basis of the postmortem report. Further investigation is on.
