Kalaburagi: The Kalaburagi bench of the high court, on Friday, gave permission to 13 more people to worship the Shiva linga located at Ladle Mashak Dargah premises in Aland town, Kalaburagi district.Among the 14 people named in today’s application, along with Siddaramaiah Hiremath, who had applied earlier, 13 people were accommodated. On Mahashivaratri, puja could be performed from 2pm to 6pm. Today, Kadganchi Veerbhadra Shivacharya did not get a chance because he did not include an Aadhaar card with the application.
The Supreme Court, on Thursday, dismissed the petition to stay the worship. In addition, Siddaramaiah Hiremath requested the DC to allow 14 people to worship. After receiving no notice from the DC office for the whole day, he later submitted an application to the divisional bench of the high court on Friday morning.
