Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing in the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah title dispute case in Mathura till Oct 13.Earlier in the day, Justice Avnish Saxena heard arguments from the parties on amendment applications filed in the related suits. The detailed order on the various applications moved in the matter is still awaited.The Hindu side has filed 18 suits seeking possession of the land after the removal of the Shahi Eidgah mosque structure, restoration of the alleged temple, and a permanent injunction.The dispute pertains to the Shahi Eidgah mosque, believed to have been built during the reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The Hindu parties contend that the mosque was constructed after demolishing a temple at the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
