Prayagraj: Pratapgarh police on Friday arrested seven bike lifters and recovered eight stolen bikes near Kishundaspur bridge road during a vehicle checking drive. The arrested auto lifters identified as Adarsh Kumar Pasi alias Veeru, Aman Patel alias Nirhua, Anshul Kumar, Anmol Pal, Mohd Yaqoob, Ram Gulam Sharma and Rajesh Kumar, were residents of Prayagraj and Pratapgarh respectively. Police said that four out of eight recovered vehicles were lifted from Kotwali area of Pratapgarh. The bike lifters gang was operating in both Prayagraj and Pratapgarh districts.
