Chandigarh: The Haryana govt has established a dedicated call centre to provide assistance and support to the serving armed forces personnel, ex-servicemen, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and their families.The call centre will provide guidance to these personnel on various welfare schemes.Additional chief secretary, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Vijayendra Kumar said on Wednesday that the initiative aimed to ensure timely redressal of grievances, and to provide accurate information regarding various welfare schemes and services offered by the Govt of Haryana.It will serve as a single point of contact for addressing issues, facilitating access to benefits, and guiding beneficiaries on matters concerning their welfare and entitlements, said Kumar.He said the department remained committed to the welfare and well-being of the armed forces and the CAPF community, and this initiative was a significant step towards strengthening service.The eligible beneficiaries can contact the call centre by dialling 0172-5210277. The call centre will function from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, except on govt holidays, said the additional chief secretary.The call centre has been operational since March 20, 2026.Kumar urged all serving armed forces personnel, ex-servicemen and their family members to make use of this facility for prompt, efficient and hassle-free assistance.MSID:: 130285224 413 |
