Gurgaon: Haryana govt has rolled out a new deployment policy for Government Model Sanskriti Schools, PM SHRI Schools and Cluster Resource Centre for Excellence (CRCE) institutions, making a screening test mandatory and capping the validity of selection at three years.
Effective July 30, the policy introduces a structured, merit-based framework where the final selection will be based on a 100-mark system, including 40 marks for a written screening test and 60 for academic qualifications; for post-graduate teachers (PGTs) and trained graduate teachers (TGTs), equal weightage of 30 marks each will be given to the test and academic record.
Academic scores will be calculated from Class 10, 12, graduation, post-graduation and BEd credentials, while the screening test will remain valid for one year. Teachers above 55 years will be exempted from the test. The entire process, from vacancy identification to final deployment, will be conducted online.
Teachers who qualify the screening test may also be given priority in national and international training and exposure programmes. Teachers who have already cleared the screening test will be considered to have qualified automatically, eliminating the need for re-examination.
