Itanagar: More than 20 houses in various places in Arunachal Pradesh’s Banderdewa circle have been damaged by a hailstorm on Tuesday.Roofs of several houses were blown away and essential items such as food grains and clothing were damaged, an official report said on Wednesday.On Wednesday, Banderdewa circle officer Taba Milka took stock of the damages in the affected areas under Pichola, Tani Hapa, and Gorubanda panchayat segments.Agriculture, horticulture and fisheries sectors were also affected at several locations. Officials said power supply may remain disrupted for the next 2-3 days due to damage to electric poles and transmission lines.
