Kanpur: The micro, small and medium enterprise conclave and three-day regional trade show, organised jointly by the Agricultural University and MSME on the occasion of the golden jubilee year at CSA Agriculture University, Kanpur, concluded successfully.On this occasion, chief guest MSME minister Rakesh Sachan was welcomed and felicitated by the university’s vice-chancellor K Vijayendra Pandian.The chief guest in his address said that more than 150 stalls were set up in this three-day conclave, showcasing various advanced technologies, through which more than 2,500 youth were inspired to set up industries. The minister said that through the department, more than three crore people of the state are being benefited. He said the govt schemes are bringing change in people’s lives, and everyone is getting opportunities to move forward.At the closing ceremony, 20 alumni of the university were also felicitated. Under the State Handicraft Award, 40 artisans were awarded for their craftsmanship. In addition, 5 under the Textile Policy, 20 under the Technology Upgradation Scheme, 3 under Pitch Tank Top, and 29 entrepreneurs under the MSME State Award were honoured. The vote of thanks was proposed by the university’s vice-chancellor K Vijayendra Pandian. Kaushal Kumar, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Rohit Anand, additional commissioner of industries, Director Extension VK Tripathi, university registrar Renu Singh, and Naseem Akhtar, along with several officers/scientists, were present.
