Patna: The education department on Saturday termed a social media claim of Rs 44.85 lakh payment to Naya Primary School, Dighapar, in Katihar’s Pranpur block, false. It said the bill was AI-generated and no official record supported the claim.On the Katihar DM’s directions, the DEO and SDO inspected the school on Sept 10. No evidence was provided by local residents. The department said the school has no building and the DEO’s office had submitted a report on it to the director of primary education on July 30.
