Panaji: Retired Allahabad high court chief justice Ferdino Rebello on Saturday said that citizens have a constitutional right to protect their environment.They cannot be called urban naxalites, he said, urging those in power to carefully and thoughtfully choose their words.“It is my duty to protect the ecology, and exercising that right is given to us by the Constitution. I use this platform to request all those in power to be very careful about the words they choose to communicate,” he said.
