Technically, yes.
The festival and its associated charities and organisations always need volunteers to help keep things running smoothly at Worthy Farm.
Normally, volunteers are required to work three eight-hour shifts in return for a pass to the festival, but the expectation does vary.
Oxfam has worked with Glastonbury for more than 25 years. Anybody hoping to volunteer with the charity can register their interest to join the 2,000-person team to work in roles on the gates, campaigning with the public or helping in the charity shop at the festival site.
Meanwhile, the Festaff stewarding team requires three eight-hour shifts per volunteer in return for a pass. According to the organisation, the shifts involve “light enjoyable customer facing tasks”.
My Cause UK is looking for volunteers to work four shifts lasting six hours and 15 minutes with their Internal Traffic Management team.
There are also volunteer opportunities for the medical teams, tent stewards, campsite wardens and property lockups.
Aspiring volunteers have also been warned of fraudulent individuals and/or companies who claim to be recruiting.
Anybody unsure about the legitimacy of a company is advised to contact the festival.
