Ranchi: The body of a 22-year-old girl was found from the Dhurwa dam in the city under the Nagri police station limits, on Thursday. The girl has been identified as Nimisha Jha, a student of Birla Institute of Technology’s Lalpur campus.Praveen Kumar, in charge of Nagri police station, said that the preliminary investigation has suggested Nimisha’s death to be a suicide. “However, it needs a thorough investigation to ascertain the cause of the death. As we received information, we arrived at the spot and sent the body to post-mortem examination. She hailed from the Sail city area in Pundag,” Kumar said.
