Chennai: A high-level delegation, led by Ghana’s interior minister Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, visited the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) in Chennai on Monday to study Tamil Nadu police’s crime-record management and use of technology in policing, from administative processes to day-to-day work.Police officials briefed the delegation on the crime and criminal tracking network and systems (CCTNS), crime-data integration and digital record maintenance. Additional director-general of police (law and order) T S Anbu, SCRB director Sonal Chandra and superintendent of police Lavanya participated in the meeting with Ghana’s high commissioner to India, professor Kwasi Oprey-Danso, and diplomatic adviser Muniru Kadiri.
