Mysuru: Online booking for gold cards and tickets for major Mysuru Dasara 2026 events, including the procession, torchlight parade and drone show, opened on Monday.DC Lakshmikanth Reddy said that 3,500 gold cards will be sold this year on a first-come, first-served basis. Priced at Rs 6,500 per person, the gold card offers access to several key Dasara events and tourist attractions during the festival. The district administration said gold cards and event tickets are available through the official Mysuru Dasara website, www.mysoredasara.gov.in.Gold card holders will be allowed VIP entry to Mysuru Palace to witness the Dasara procession and attend the torchlight parade at Bannimantap grounds. The card also provides access to major tourist attractions, including Chamundi Hills, Mysuru zoo and Mysuru Palace, from Oct 11 to 21. In addition, it includes entry to the one-day drone show.

Officials said the new system would ensure seats match the numbers printed on the cards. The administration has advised visitors to buy gold cards and tickets only through the official online booking portal and to avoid unauthorised sellers.
