HYDERABAD: Amid concerns over uninterrupted fuel supply for temple kitchens, the executive officer of Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple has sought assurance from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for continuous gas supply essential for preparing offerings for devotees.The EO submitted a formal request to HPCL highlighting the importance of uninterrupted LPG supply for the temple’s daily operations. Responding to the request, HPCL assured the temple administration that gas supply would continue without disruption.Officials said a reliable gas supply is crucial for cooking laddus and preparing other prasadam items distributed to devotees. At present, the temple consumes 3.5 tonnes of LPG every month, which is crucial for preparation of laddu offerings and to meet its cooking requirements.Temple authorities said there is no immediate shortage, and existing stocks are expected to last for two months. Following HPCL’s assurance, temple officials expressed confidence that gas supply will remain stable.
