Guwahati: Zubeen Garg’s wife Garima Saikia Garg on Wednesday received the succession certificate following an order of a lower court in Guwahati.Garima’s advocate Pradip Talukdar said, “Zubeen Garg had four bank accounts and altogether, there is Rs 9.63 lakh. Garima Saikia Garg will now be able to use that money. Being a Zubeen’s admirer, apart from being an advocate, I feel bad to say that the singer, who worked in the Assamese film and music industry, had only Rs 9.63 lakh in his bank accounts.”Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Garima said receiving the succession certificate had once again caused her immense hurt as she had never thought of having succession of properties of her husband.“We made a mistake by believing in everyone. We should not have believed everyone,” a visible emotional Garima said.“This is a difficult time for me. I never imagined I will face a moment like this in my life. Everything we did, we did together, believing we would always remain by each other’s side. Now, holding all of this alone, I have found no peace at all,” Garima said.“He (Zubeen) also worked for the people throughout his life. I will also follow the same path in my life,” she added.Meanwhile, Talukdar said witnesses were being examined before the fast track court in connection with Zubeen’s death last September.
