Times News NetworkKanpur: In Etawah’s Jaswantnagar police station area, a petrol tanker helper died late on Friday night after a speeding unidentified truck hit him on the service road in front of Amrit Punjabi Hotel, while the tanker driver narrowly escaped. Police sent the body for postmortem and began searching for the vehicle, which fled after the accident.Police said their team reached the spot and inspected the scene. Sub-Inspector Lalit Chaturvedi said, “The body was sent to Etawah for postmortem. The family members have been informed about the incident, and legal action is being taken along with a search for the unidentified truck that caused the accident and fled.”
