Panaji: In the last three and a half months, FRRO, Goa, has deported 18 foreigners, including six Bangladesh nationals.During 2025, FRRO-Goa deported 120 foreign nationals, including 29 Bangladesh nationals, for overstaying.SP FRRO, Arshi Aadil said that FRRO-Goa deported an Australian national on April 10, and two Russian nationals on April 12, this year, following sustained legal, administrative efforts. The Australian national was overstaying in India since Aug 2020. The two Russian nationals, were overstaying since Jan 2021 and July 2025, respectively. The operation was carried out through sustained field efforts.Aadil said that FRRO-Goa remains committed to taking firm and lawful action against overstaying foreign nationals in the state, while safeguarding the interests of genuine and law-abiding foreigners visiting or residing in Goa. It advises all hotel owners, guesthouse operators, homestay providers, landlords and others providing accommodation to foreign nationals to ensure timely and accurate submission of the C-Form in accordance with the law.“Failure to report the stay of foreign nationals or delay in such reporting attracts legal consequences. All stakeholders are requested to remain vigilant and strictly comply with C-Form reporting requirements,” Aadil said.
