Udupi: As part of the Samruddha Byndoor initiative and the Arunachalam Footbridge Project, the SR Sadanandam Footbridge, constructed at Kyakodu village under the Ajri gram panchayat, was inaugurated on Sunday. The project was implemented with the support of Samyata Foundation, Bengaluru, and funded through the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Chennai-based Indus 555 TMT.The footbridge, which had been a long-pending demand of local residents, is expected to provide safe passage during the monsoon, and significantly improve daily connectivity for people living in the village. Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole said, “Institutions that understand people’s needs and partner in meaningful initiatives are giving fresh momentum to rural development. Public service remains our highest priority, and through such collaborations, we will implement more people-centric projects across the constituency.”
