Kanpur: Police have registered a case against the drivers and owners of five trucks allegedly transporting minerals illegally in Patharmandi Kabrai, Mahoba.An eight-member district task committee, led by SDM Sadar Shivdhyan Pandey and CO Ravikant Gond, intercepted the grit-laden trucks during checking with Kabrai police on Sept 23.During checking, the drivers failed to produce documents related to the minerals, after which the trucks were parked at the Galla Mandi premises and the mineral department was informed.
