Jalandhar: Shots were fired at a house-cum-IVF centre in Mota Singh Nagar of Jalandhar on Saturday night, nearly 24 hours after a similar attack at the residence of a veterinarian in Santokhpura locality.CCTV footage showed a suspect in a helmet stop on a motorcycle outside the IVF centre, owned by Varish Vardaan, around 9.40pm. He pulled out a pistol, opened fire and fled within seconds. Police reached immediately after getting the information.
DCP (investigation) Manpreet Singh Dhillon said Vardaan, who resides on the premises, had not reported any threat or extortion calls.
