Kolkata: Trinamool on Thursday filed a police complaint against a man, Madan Mohan Jena, for allegedly circulating “sexually explicit” and “derogatory” videos targeting party chairperson and chief minister Mamata Banerjee.The complaint, lodged by TMC general secretary Baiswanor Chattopadhyay, describes a “sustained and deliberate pattern of misconduct” intended to vilify the CM’s reputation. The accused reportedly used vulgar and malicious language to outrage the modesty of a woman in a high constitutional office. The party said the videos aim to provoke public sentiment and unduly influence the polls at the behest of political rivals. The videos also allegedly insult Bengal’s women and promote hatred against minority communities. tnn
