Erode: A financier in Erode city was stabbed to death by two unidentified men near his office on Chinnamuthu 2nd Street, on Sunday.The deceased has been identified as Udayakumar, 34, of Radhakrishnan Street, in Surampatty.Surampatty police said the attackers stabbed him in the stomach and escaped on a two-wheeler. Police recovered the body and sent it to the Erode Government Medical College and Hospital for a postmortem. A case has been registered and further investigation is on. They are also reviewing CCTV camera footage in the locality, to identify the suspects.
