Ranchi: Lohardaga MLA and former finance minister Rameshwar Oraon on Tuesday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in the liquor scam case. Oraon arrived at the ED office at 11 am and went inside without answering media queries. He said, “I would not say anything. You can take my photos. I have served in police for 28 years. A witness does not speak in public.”ED also questioned the MLA’s son, Rohit Oraon, on Monday. ED on Aug 23, 2023, carried out searches at 34 locations, including those linked to Rohit in Ranchi, in connection with the scam. A sum of Rs 30 lakh was recovered from him.
