Gorakhpur: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to ensure prompt resolution of every public grievance, saying there should be no negligence in handling complaints with sensitivity and ensuring their satisfactory redressal.During his visit to Gorakhpur, Yogi met people and heard their grievances at the Janata Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple. Assuring people of govt support, he told attendees not to worry and said that every complaint would receive appropriate attention and action.Yogi met about 200 people during the event. He personally approached those waiting outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan, listened to their complaints, and passed each representation to officials with instructions for timely action.As in every Janta Darshan, several people sought financial assistance for medical treatment. The CM assured them that no one’s treatment would be halted due to a lack of funds. Speaking to a woman suffering from a heart ailment, he said that adequate financial assistance for her treatment would be provided from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.Taking a serious view of complaints related to land encroachment, Yogi instructed officials to act swiftly and firmly against illegal occupiers, emphasizing that strict action should be taken against those involved in forcible land grabbing.
