Panaji: The Enough is Enough movement will support the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in its cause, said former chief justice of the Allahabad high court, Justice Ferdino Rebello, on Thursday.The CJP had earlier urged citizens to gather at Azad Maidan on Oct 11 to demand CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. “One may ask how we can demand this resignation from a high constitutional office? Tomorrow, are we going to demand the resignation of chief justices or high court judges? The answer is “yes”; we have to be careful that our movements don’t lead to anarchy,” said Rebello. He said that one could take the legal route for justice; however, that would take longer.“In court, SIR is being challenged, but courts across the country are currently burdened. However, based on the material that has come out in public regarding this issue, the election commissioner himself should have resigned because he has failed his constitutional duty of holding free and fair elections,” he said.
