Salem: PMK MLA R Arul on Tuesday accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of lacking justice and fairness, and said it had become an unreliable and costly institution.Speaking to the media in Salem city, Arul said ECI had on Monday reiterated its stand that Anbumani Ramadoss was the recognized leader of PMK.
He said Anbumani’s party was doing politics by telling lies and that the faction had bought ECI as they could not buy justice and the court. Arul also accused Anbumani of being an ally of the National Democratic Alliance, and that he had influenced the election commission with the connections at the Centre. Arul said the ‘mango symbol’ belonged to Ramadoss and that the alliance formed by Ramadoss would be the winning alliance. “Only those who respect their father could get power and win in politics.”
