A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of CDO Deeksha Jain on Saturday, where officials were directed to launch special campaigns in every village to ensure that no child remains out of school. Jain instructed that daily enrolment reports must be shared at the district level for regular monitoring of the campaign. She emphasised door-to-door surveys to identify children who are not attending school and ensure their admission. She said the School Chalo Abhiyan, aims to connect every eligible child with formal education.She also clarified that no child will be denied admission due to the absence of documents such as a birth certificate or Aadhaar card. Public participation, she added, is crucial, urging residents to help identify and enrol out-of-school children in nearby primary schools.Chief Medical Officer Hari Dutt Nemi said that along with education, health check-ups, vaccination and nutrition programmes will be implemented effectively in schools to ensure overall child development.Under the campaign, rallies, School Management Committee (SMC) meetings and awareness drives will also be organised at school and block levels.Block education officers, district inspector of schools, basic education officer and district programme officer, among others, were present at the meeting.
