Patna: District magistrate Thiyagarajan S M on Sunday reviewed LPG supply and distribution with officials, directing strict action against black marketing, hoarding and overcharging. Authorities were asked to lodge FIRs and arrest those involved in irregularities. Officials, including ADMs and SDOs, are conducting inspections and raids at distributors while collecting consumer feedback. As many as 28 raid teams led by supply officials have been deployed at the block-level to prevent hoarding. The administration warned that the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) would be invoked against offenders. A district helpline (0612-2219810) is operational from 9am to 6pm for complaints, he said.
