Nitesh Tiwari‘s ‘Ramayana‘ is all Indian fans are buzzing about these days. With the trailer launch just days away, the buzz for the epic has never been louder. On Friday, shortly after the release of Christopher Nolan‘s ‘The Odyssey’, Indian fans in the US and UK, set social media abuzz when they posted clips of the teaser of the Ranbir Kapoor and Yash starrer, playing out on the IMAX screen.
‘Ramayana’ teaser loses yellow tint
However, the footage has now prompted fans to speculate that producer Namit Malhotra may have subtly reworked the visuals following feedback on the film’s first glimpse. Videos recorded inside theatres have been circulating across social media, with several users claiming the teaser now features a less saturated, more natural-looking colour grade than the previous yellow-tone version released early this year.
Fans react to new colour palette
Sharing the clip, one user wrote, “#Ramayana They changed the warm yellow colour palette.” Another praised the apparent tweak, commenting, “Thank god they’ve worked the yellow warm colour palette. It now looks far more photorealistic and refined.”Several others lauded the makers for actively responding to audience feedback. “That means they have worked on the feedback, hopefully they have more of such changes,” one social media user posted, while another shared, “1st one looks more grand, but second one looks more realistic. So I am happy with the change.”However, not everyone believes the teaser has been altered. Some users argued that the difference in colour could simply be the result of mobile phone recordings. “Believe me or not they haven’t changed anything in that scene,it’s looking different because it’s recorded in phone,” read the comment.
‘Ramayana’ gears up for trailer release

The makers have reportedly earned certification for two trailers, with one said to be 4-minutes and the other 4 minutes and 15 seconds long.As per reports, the team will launch the clip at Comic Con, in front of an audience of over 4,800 people. The clip will also debut globally at the same time.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
