Srinagar, Aug 13 : DGP J&K Shri Nalin Prabhat, accompanied by IGP Kashmir V.K. Birdi, SSP Srinagar Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy and other jurisdictional officers, conducted a late-night ground review of security arrangements across Srinagar ahead of Independence Day.
During the review, the DGP personally inspected naka points, security deployments and arrangements at Bakshi Stadium. He also interacted with personnel deployed on the ground and assessed the overall preparedness for the Independence Day celebrations.
The DGP briefed the deployed personnel and issued necessary directions to maintain heightened alertness, ensure effective coordination and strengthen security measures. Officers and personnel were directed to remain vigilant and ensure robust security arrangements across the city.
