Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will fly to New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion plans, meet CBI director and hold discussions with AICC top leaders on filling up working president posts and corporation chairpersons, cabinet among other issues.Sources said Revanth is likely to meet officials and also Union ministers, depending upon the appointments, to explain the Metro Rail Phase-I takeover completed by Telangana govt and seek approvals for Metro Phase-II A and Phase-II B expansion plans.A senior leader said Revanth’s visit to the national capital on Wednesday also assumes significance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Hyderabad on May 10.“The CM is likely to meet the CBI director. Telangana govt had sought a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram case, and on Monday decided to hand over even the Madan B Lokur Commission report on power purchase agreements (PPAs) to CBI,” the leader said.The CM would also meet AICC top leaders in connection with the election results to five state assemblies, especially Kerala where Congress-led UDF won. Revanth is likely to discuss filling up of working president and corporation chairpersons and cabinet expansion plans.
