Kolkata: Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly and his wife Dona have received death threats, following which the Kolkata Police STF and the directorate of security have started a probe. STF has zeroed in on a location 32km from the Gangulys’ Behala house, from where threat letters were sent. Cops were raiding the site when last reports came in.According to the FIR filed by Sourav’s personal secretary Taniya Bhattacharya at Thakurpukur PS, regular letters containing serious threats to Sourav, his family and staff have been received in the past four months. While these were ignored, the last two letters stated the sender would “eliminate” Ganguly and that nothing could stop him.
