Chennai: Dayalu Ammal, 92, wife of the late CM M Karunanidhi, was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road on Monday night after developing fever and breathing difficulty. Her condition is reportedly stable.DMK sources said she developed a mild fever on Monday evening and later complained of breathlessness, following which she was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).Leader of opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin visited the hospital to inquire about his grandmother’s health. After being informed that her condition was stable, he returned home later at night, sources said.
