Chikhaldara: A 35-year-old dance trainer from Amravati reportedly drowned at Kalal Kund, a water body in the popular hill station of Chikhaldara, on Friday.The deceased has been identified as Vipin Manohar Kore, a dance trainer at Birla Open Minds School, Amravati. According to preliminary information, Kore went to Chikhaldara with his friend. During the outing, Kore went for a swim at Kalal Kund. He drowned after entering deep water, cops said.Kore’s friend informed the cops about the incident. Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from Amravati and Nagpur were pressed into service. At the time of filing the report, the body hadn’t been recovered. Kalal Kund is considered one of the deepest and most risky water bodies in Chikhaldara, making rescue operations extremely challenging.
