Vadodara: The crime branch on Friday arrested four persons for allegedly robbing a man near Squirrel Circle in the city.According to police, the accused followed Krunal Gandhi on Wednesday night and intercepted his motorcycle near Squirrel Circle. They threatened him and fled with his mobile phone.Based on CCTV footage, crime branch launched an investigation and later received a tip-off about the suspects. The team traced and detained them under the Lalbaug bridge.During questioning, the accused failed to give satisfactory answers about the motorcycle and mobile phones in their possession. On further interrogation, they confessed to stealing the vehicle and robbing Gandhi.Those arrested are Akshay Mali, Guru Marwadi, Pragnesh Mali and Manish Ninama. Police said Mali has seven offences, including theft, registered against him, while Marwadi is also accused in two theft cases.
