Jhunjhunu: The bodies of a man and a woman were found hanging from a tree in Bhodki village under Gudhagaurdji police station area in the Jhunjhunu district Friday.The deceased were identified as Sunil Kumar (32), a resident of Bhiwani in Haryana, and Indubala, a resident of Kheenvasar village in Jhunjhunu district.According to police, the bodies were spotted by a villager near a pond, following which he alerted others and the police were informed.Preliminary investigation suggests the two died by suicide, as they were found hanging from a kikar tree using a dupatta. Sulphas tablets were also recovered from the spot, raising suspicion that poison may have been consumed before the act. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem.Both the bodies were sent to Gudhagaurdji CHC for post-mortem.Police identified Sunil through an Aadhaar card found in his pocket. He was an Indian Army personnel and had returned home on leave about a week ago. He had come in contact with Indubala through Instagram and the two were reportedly in a relationship. Initial inputs suggest that their relationship might have led to a dispute in his family.Sunil left home Thursday evening and his phone was switched off thereafter. His family had been searching for him and reached the spot Friday after being informed by the police.Police said they are probing all angles to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
