TIMES NEWS NETWORKMangaluru: A couple was found dead at a rented house at Kaje in Alankaru village, Kadaba, on Friday. According to a complaint filed by Sumalatha, a resident of Alankaru in Kadaba, a couple named Dinesh and Sangeetha,40, who were relatives of the complainant, were residing in Kaje within the Kadaba police station limits along with their child.On Friday, Sangeetha’s family members from her hometown called her in the morning, but there was no response. The complainant’s husband then went to their house to check and found the door locked from the inside. When thecomplainant and others broke open the door, they discovered that Dinesh had allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself. Meanwhile, inside the house, Sangeetha was found dead lying in a pool of blood.Based on the complaint, which alleges that Dinesh murdered his wife Sangeetha with a weapon due to family disputes, a case has been registered at the Kadaba police station under Section 103(1) of the BNS.Additionally, a case regarding Dinesh’s suicide has been registered under Section 194 of the BNSS. Police said that an investigation is under way, and further legal action will be taken.
