BENGALURU: Actor and producer Prakash Raj on Wednesday said there will be a ‘state-level tribunal’ on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) at Bengaluru’s Freedom Park on October 8, urging people to attend the protest in large numbers.In a video posted on X, Raj said SIR victims from across the state would attend the tribunal along with corporators, political leaders, youth organisations and civil society groups.Prakash said, “Tomorrow, 8 October, it is going to be a state-level tribunal, where victims of SIR, who are the evidence, will come from across the state to Bengaluru Freedom Park.”“And all the Cockroaches, Abhijit, Deepu, Saurav, and the corporators, all the young organisations, and the civil society of Karnataka will be there.”“Please come in big numbers, attend this most important protest and the tribunal, which is questioning SIR, which has created trauma to every citizen of this country, especially those victims who have suffered in Bangalore,” Prakash said.“This is not just a questioning vote. It is an attempt to kill democracy and the Constitution,” he added.“Come in large numbers, and by evening I will announce a special guest, a voice with a smile. You’d be surprised with it. Keep guessing,” Prakash said.“But tomorrow, 8th October, we’ll be there from morning. Please walk in, stand, and show your solidarity for this great protest which is erupting in the country against this draconian SIR,” Prakash further added.Meanwhile, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das alleged that the Election Commission, under CEC Gyanesh Kumar, had deleted the names of 908 out of 909 voters in the Bela Estate settlement in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk constituency during the SIR.Das posted on X, “See how Gyanesh Kumar’s Election Commission ensured that only ONE out of 909 persons in this Delhi settlement survive the SIR.”“This is the Bela Estate settlement in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk constituency where 908 out of 909 voters have been deleted during the SIR in Delhi,” Das said.“This is only a small sample of what Gyanu has actually done NATIONWIDE, against the people of India, all in the service of ONE political party,” he added.
