Bathinda: Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Thursday said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) govt had tested the patience of the mothers and daughters of Punjab, who have now united to fight the menace of drugs. Addressing Maawan –Dheeyan Insaaf Yatra gatherings at Moga and Baghapurana, she said, “Under the AAP govt, there might be a shortage of flour, but there is no shortage of chitta. Similarly, toffees have been substituted by ‘drug golis’. Drugs are now virtually being delivered at home.”Ms Badal also stated that the Congress party had used the gun to wipe out an entire generation, and now AAP is wiping out another generation through the new ‘goli of drugs’. “Mothers are losing children to drugs. We need to unite against this,” she added.Taking on the chief minister for defaming the SAD on the issue of drugs, she said, “Did you ever see youth lying dead on road sides with drug needles by their sides. This is happening now only because AAP leaders are patronizing the drug trade.”
