Valpoi: Redeghat in Valpoi witnessed two accidents on Wednesday, raising fresh concerns over the safety of people using this stretch.In the morning, a car lost control and veered off the road and fell into a ravine. The driver and another occupant escaped with minor injuries. Later in the afternoon, a more serious accident involving a car, a motorcycle, and a truck was reported.A witness said the car driver suddenly hit the brakes after spotting a snake crossing the road. A motorcyclist behind him could not halt in time and collided with the car. Shortly after, a truck following the motorcycle dashed into it.The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, particularly to the head. He was first taken to Valpoi community health centre and subsequently referred to the GMC. Valpoi police visited both the accident sites.
